Maybe I'm super fucked in the head or just curious but damn, I can't stop watching people die or suffer, pretty fucked up. I've been watching gore sites for years, I've basically become desensitized to death. I can watch the most gory deaths/suicides/murders/torture and feel nothing inside.

Don't know if anyone shares the same "fetish", it's really messed up.

Not really a fetish since I do not get sexual gratification from it, but I have watched gore sites ever since I was 13, was a member of some of them for many years. I don't feel too much inside, unless it's some dog or pet being slaughtered or tortured, then I feel rage. I took physiology and anatomy classes during my first stint in college, and we had a field trip to the living body exhibit at the local university where they open up a cadaver and show the blood vessels and tissue of each part as well as organs. It was really fascinating for me while others were on the verge of throwing up. One of my friends had the awesome idea of bringing a box of pizza to the viewing theater for us to eat and I had to off-chance mention that the fatty tissues between the epidermis layer and the muscle looked like the pizza.

Yeah animal death is the only thing that triggers me as well but humans, I feel nothing, absolutely nothing even if it's the most inhumane torture/murder. Needless to say I find it fascinating with how much damage the human body is capable of enduring and succumbing to.

Mob justice in Africa is absolutely brutal the way they "necklace" people, but then the people they're burning are rapists, pedos, etc. You think they would just lay down and give up, let fate take over, but they still manage to try and get up, run away, or beg to spare their life while the the villagers beat them with sticks, throw more fuel on the tire and so on. Finally a police officer who's standing nearby watching it all go down, will come in and throw a heavy stone on the guy's head to put him down for good.

Dying is hard.

I'm the same. I started watching videos of people ctb. Then I moved onto accidental deaths and then murders. Now I can watch anything without any problem. One exception. There are a few videos that involve cutting eyeballs. That's a nope from me. But everything else I feel nothing.

When I was younger I had my years of curiosity and I spent a couple of years on those pages until I came across a video of a boy who begged for his life but ended up beheaded. During that time I saw a little of everything but that video marked me more and since then I stopped visiting those pages, I didn't see that it contributed anything to me.

but live leaks gone now
Damn, I had no idea :/
"Everything's different now, everything moves on," says Hewitt, before adding in an aside to the camera: "I don't fucking like it. I liked it much better when it was the Wild West."
True. Normies and corporations destroyed the internet. It's all about social media and advertiser-friendly content. They turned it into another TV basically - soulless and devoid of substance. Nothing controversial, nothing offensive and don't say "fuck" on YT or we'll demonetize you. Sad, just sad.

I stopped watching gore when /r/watchpeopledie got banned. I think the Christchurch massacre was the last nail in the gore websites coffin, most of them started shutting down shortly after that. Even the internet is boring now.

Documenting Reality has some crazy shit on it, it's one of the last gore sites I still visit regularly and with moderation because you can only refresh the website 5 times before they ask you to donate with bitcoin and then you need to wait 24 hours. Prevents me from binge watching gore.

I'm the same, I'm more curious to see what happens to the body under extreme conditions.

Saw a dude take a pickaxe to the eye, was a bit hard to watch and one of the few videos that made me a bit squeamish.

I use gory roleplays as a coping mechanism for suicidal thoughts, and for anxiety. It's incredibly comforting to imagine myself being tortured and/or killed I must be the only person on the whole internet who does, as everyone else seems to be in it for sex.

Been watching gore videos since I was a teenager on the internet. I don't exactly enjoy watching them, but I have a morbid fascination with taboo videos like gore. Perhaps I find it fascinating because it's real. Gore is the cold hard reality of life, that we all die, and that human beings are the most evil and sadistic beings to ever exist. I am so desensitized that I can watch a human die and suffer the most horrible death and I feel nothing. ....An animal being tortured on the other hand, it makes me weep and hurts my soul.

I'm a 27 year old woman, never found another girl who also watches gore and finds it fascinating.

You aren't the only one who does that; imagining torturing/killing myself is one of the things that calms me down the fastest. I thought I was the only one who used that as a coping mechanism before I saw that post. Strange how the only place I can actually fit in is this website

Bestgore was amazing, I checked it daily. Ever since it got shut, I joined this group death and gore on facebook, its as good as bestgore, funny comments too.
But bestgore had intellectuals who commented and debated. I got informed of the severity of coronavirus even before the first few cases of Wuhan got mainstream news coverage. That website can't be replaced.

I can't with gore sites because they depress me on a whole 'nother level. The worst things i've seen is probably 3 guys 1 hammer and some vid of a dog getting skinned alive and then tossed into a pile of other skinned dogs (this was in wuhan china where they eat dogs). Although the 3 guys 1 hammer has left my mind the vid of the skinned dogs has not due to the vid being so hd. And this was 10 years ago btw. Be careful when going on these sites you might just stumble upon images or a vid that will become permanent in your mind.

Does Joiner say that watching videos of other people dying weakens our SI? I think he claims that it's only the ability to physically hurt oneself that helps a person overcome SI. An anorexic girl who's not into gore is far more likely to successfully ctb than dudes who watch that shit all day long but can't skip a meal without whimpering that their tummy hurts

I've had severe anorexia for 10 years, have N, and my SI is still super strong lol
