I booked a hotel room and I have a rope over the bathroom door for partial suspension. I have a little ottoman that I can stand on to get my neck through the loop and then step off, so the rope is at a really taut height so i can stand and just lean slightly forward. But I can't do it, the rope is 8mm so it might be too thin, and I don't think I have found my carotid as it is painful around my neck and constricting my breathing. :( any tips? What if I try sitting/kneeling?

Also try shifting rope on your neck from top to bottom untill you find your carotids, eventualy youll get the spot. Took me a while as well to find it. Body position can also affect wether it will work or not. Rope on a sweetspot works in one position while not in other. Takes some testing for partial. Good luckSimilar threads
