There are also many kinds of love. I'm finally learning not to mistake certain kinds of love for the kind I give and desire in return. I'm so sorry you're in pain. Betrayal is so painful.

Try to do something to comfort yourself if you can. Something like that can be a system shock and will take time to process.

I'm really sorry. That's really awful. To believe someone is your soulmate and then them breaking up with you is truly awful. To be betrayed is one of the worst feelings.

Either she never loved you or she has the "what I'm feeling now is what I have always felt" thing (I mean for example, when some people are happy, they feel that they have always been happy, or when they are sad, they feel that they've always been sad). Or maybe she loves you, but loves something or someone else even more and just said "I don't love you" to stop you from trying to get her back. Who knows.

I truly hope that one day, whether in this world or the next, you can find a true soulmate. I know that currently it feels like there will never be anyone who can replace her, but there is a chance that one day you will find someone else who makes you happy again.

it's ironic I told my ex the same thing, the "I never loved you", when we were literally killing each other alive with our own issues.

I loved her. I miss her, fondly. but I have hurt her too much in ways I wasn't aware of at first. I thought "love" means putting up with everything and never, ever, saying "no". it burnt me out. and that's a chilling thought to her, when she realized that.

"I never loved you" means "I gotta run away from this". that is, if she got into the relationship for the relationship only, no malicious intent. it's a weapon of defense that can be used for reasons and purposes unknown to the other party. nobody is to blame for her suddenly having that reason, or for withholding sharing it until the last minute. and it's THEIR (HER) reason. it doesn't have to be *anything* of your making.

I love her. I just didn't know *how*. how to do it the right way. how to do *her* right.

in our very last few exchanges of words, she said, "when you don't ever say no, a yes means nothing, either." it is in this way that I have never loved her. in effect. you know.

Hah. Kind of. But i agree with your statement to some degree.

Love can be powerful, it could be your biggest strength or your biggest weakness. It doesn't have to be that way though, it doesn't have to be powerful. Love can be a little game that you play when you're bored. But make sure that you're playing it with fellow gamers, not serious people. It worked for me so, you can actually be happy without putting love as top priority.

although painful, know that most people just act for pure selfishness and self accomplishment. Your pain will go away, if you have the courage to endure it. Give yourself chances, meet other people, learn new things. If you still have health, you have got the most precious gift of life. Everything else is an optional to your health.
