All the methods that I can do require constricting my carotid arteries, and I just can't seem to do it right. I've moved my hands left right, up and down and ive even tried different positions, I can't get myself to black out. The best ive done is do is getting dizzy and hyperventilating, and in other tries I get that head exploding feeling. Any tips?

Which setup do you have?

I've tried partial several times and managed to achieve darkening in my eyes using a rolled-up towel.

Effective constriction of the carotids long enough to ensure death is nontrivial. A traumatic puncture wound, on the other hand, would cause such severe rapid exsanguination that you would probably pass out in about 3 seconds.

That being said, if you palpate the artery in your neck, you can locate it, but this act can be difficult for many. They run deep; hence why constriction can be difficult. Such an approach absolutely requires "hanging" as far as I know, which I believe there is a lot of information on. As long as your constricting material is strong and taut and out of your reach once constriction via short drop hanging begins, it's over.
