Im going to drown myself tonight. I'll stay up until 1am - 2am until i'm sure that everyones asleep and then sneak out the house and call a taxi to town. From there i'll walk about 5 -10 mins to the river mersey and jump in. I would be lying if i said i wasn't scared but this is my only option. I would prefer if someone else was with me but who else would do it like. Anyway wish me luck.

I'm sorry for whatever has brought you to this point and I truly hope you find peace. The taxi driver will probably just chit chat, you could always tell him you live in town If he asks where you are going. can I ask why River Mersey?

It's the closest one and I somehow feel like if I do it there, I'll be fine and everything will work out like I wanted it to.

Good luck, may you find peace. if my ctb partner and me go, i might also go with drowning but im not sure yet. anyway, i hope it will be quick and painless, will you use any drugs like alcohol or sedative meds? they might increase your chance and ease you a lil

If you don't mind me asking, how is it that you think you'll stay below water? You've not mentioned anything about weighing yourself down. Am I to take that to mean that you aren't going to do anything to that effect? This time of year the river won't be cold enough to send you into shock, so it seems extremely unlikely that you would keep your head below water if you were physically able to swim to the surface. Virtually impossible, I would say.

Sorry to sound blunt, I just don't see a point going through a traumatic experience like this if it won't even yield the results you are looking for.
