I'm glad that you want to do something for yourself before you go. I'm such a recluse that I wouldn't know what to do even if I was given the opportunity and courage to do it. i have too though. knowing ive gotta end it, the canary islands is the only place id wanna see. im doing one week in gran canaria and tenerife, never been to tenerife before but ive heard its good and i already love gran canaria ive been twice, i could live there and my problems would disappear by half. its so chilled there and relaxed but the only bad thing is i dont speak spanish

It depends on what else I want to experience in life. If I wanted to survey all the foods I want around the world, travel to special places, or just obtain some valuable tangibles (like figurines and what not) even though I will be dead soon, then yeah, why not. Like others said, if one isn't more than absolute certain to ctb afterwards, then it is possible to end up in an even worse situation than before.

Traveling would take too long for me so I did these things and made a beautiful place to ctb in with all the right ritualistic items and such. Kinda like my own funeral in a way and my personal retreat/sanctuary at my house in my bedroom that I can exit this world. I didn't pay my bills either for a few months, along with doing short term disability so I didn't have to bother with work and got paid. I have had time just to be with my pup and not have to fake anything.

It has been peaceful not worrying about the bills or other people, a great vacation in itself. On the end of being a stone in the wall where I cannot go back it works two fold. Doing this finally gives me the peace from the hounds of debt that has nipped everything away and ensure my life is razed so I have nothing to come back to. No one is getting anything from me and I will leave nothing for anyone to recoup money off of. Just ash.

Due to the 1% ruining us I cut down on everything including the food budget. The times when I would just order a damn pizza because I wanted a damn pizza without thinking how much it costs are long gone.

Money is only a way to provide stability to me though in general. What I would like for a permanent living situation is property far away, a house and a car to get there. That's unrealistic since I wouldn't even be able to afford the gas, so nothing is really game changing. I don't enjoy the usual lifestyle things at all. Couldn't care less.
