As far as I am aware assisted suicide is legal in some states but have their actually been people that have got it done? It seems finding a doctor willing to do an assisted suicide is one of the problems.

it's only in severe cases like cancer. You have to have a maximum of 6 months to live and have to be evaluated to be approved by at least 2 doctors. So basically, you have to already be suffering immensely and have to convince the doctors you're not crazy.
