If you were to CBT, do you think the people around you could accurately figure out the reason why without a note?

Nope, since I don't tend to open up that much in real life.

This is very relatable. I only opened up to two people about why I'm suicidal: my ex (we don't speak anymore) and a close friend. I'll probably just say in my suicide note to ask either one of them about the reasons for my ctb

Wife will know some, kid a little bit. Rest will just say "oh no surprise but I have no clue why". Typical stuff.

Of course not. I don't have just one reason, there are many reasons and nobody knows them all.

No because in my family, depression isn't real. You're just looking for attention or feeling sorry for yourself. If I were to CTB, they'd more than likely assume it was an overreaction. I've been told suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Not really. Well, my therapist would. Other people will just make up whatever they want to believe about why I did it.

Yes. I think that without a doubt, everyone would know. I mean, the people closer to me may be impacted a bit more because they have all the details, but even people on the outside could figure it out.
