You know what for someone planing to ctb ,that would be awesome.I dont think survival enxtinct will exist there. Most people who go there just for fun end up never coming back. There aint no turning back. I think seeing headless decaying bodies will make you want to ctb more.

Probably Skellig Michael in Ireland. (Popularized by the force awakens movie) It's a little island off the west coast that was once inhabited by Irish monks who survived their from the sixth to thirteenth century. They were invaded by Vikings multiple times and it's said that they baptized at least one Viking. At the time the Irish thought Skellig Michael to be the edge of the world and it's speculated that the monks were their to either be closer to god or to protect the mainland from satan. Anyways if not that then the Swiss Alps, Cliffs of Moher, secluded indoor temple in Japan, or a dark forest in Norway with the northern lights illuminating the treeline.

Why are the bodies headless? I thought people just hanged themselves there.

I went almost everywhere I wanted to go-many states in the U.S, almost all countries in Europe, Thailand, Israel, Japan, Cambodia and I would really want to Greenland before I die and also the Seychelles to get married.
But in general I did almost everything I wanted to and am so deeply satisfied with having seen so much.

I'd like to go to Romania. But not CTB there ... The costs involved to recover a body are enough to bankrupt a low wage family. To anyone considering ctb'ing in a foreign country it's something to keep in mind if you still have family. It runs in tens of thousands of dollar/euro.

Like @hunter_lewis I've been fortunate to have travelled quite extensively. Though there of course places I'd like to return to see more of (China, for example) but there is very clearly one place I wish I could return to before I depart. I want to go back to my former home in the states so that I could enjoy one last day spent with my little girl. We wouldn't have to do anything extravagant, just the silly little things we used to do together. Go play putt putt golf, maybe fishing to see that look on her face when she catches one, a walk in the park so I could push her on the swing, make popcorn and watch a Harry Potter movie, and at night, put her to bed and tickle/scratch her back like she always asked me to do. I'd give anything to have just one more day of her in my presence.

No i'm from western europe but i've gotten to know a few girls from Romania and by knowing them i kind of got the feeling that although poverty is a big issue there that people are generally kind and it would be nice to visit the country. They often talked about their country and so yeah ... I only learned a few words of the romanian language aswell and i'm sure if my mind wasn't a trainwreck i'd be interested in actually learning it.

Hmm, I dunno...I am part Bulgarian and was in BG often which is kind of similar to Romania and I didn't think most people were kind. In my experience, Germany has the kindest people. And Japan.

Well i hung out with only a few so i might have been biased indeed. Germany i have only been once (with school) as it is a neighbouring country (belgium) and the only other country i have ever visited is oddly enough Japan. Afaik they where not keen on foreigners but this was tokyo so they see a shitload of tourists so who can blame them. It was the only vacation i've ever had outside of my own country. But i'm very glad i experienced it though. It's been 10 years ... i still see myself wandering the streets of tokyo in the middle of night depressed and wanting to be dead.
