Discussion if you can choose any world you can live in what would it be? (in terms of video games/movies/tv shows/anime etc.)

if you guys can decide any world you can live in. in any form of media what would you pick?
For me it's prob not really a good pick but I choose breaking bad for how chaotic their world can get

I wanna say more but I don't wanna spoil anything about it since it's a really great show.

What's your guys picks?

I love breaking bad! One of my favorite shows of all time, if not my favorite. And better call Saul that whole show is gold. I don't know if I'd want to be a part of it though lol.
I honestly would love to live in the Scooby Doo world. I've been a huge fan ever since I was a kid. I always thought that when I grew up I'd live in a van with my friends and travel around having adventures. It would be really nice indeed.

That's honestly a great pick. very simple and it bring back memories when I use to watch one of the scooby doo cartoons.
It would also be really wild too. you will encounter anything and it's a little scary but I think that's what makes the world very fun

Any of the Animal Crossing games before New Leaf— I don't want a job title, lol. Life seems peaceful there, obligations are non-existent, neighbors are (relatively) friendly and happy to see and talk to you, conflict is barely a thing, and money can be relatively easy to make. $16k+ just for hitting a rock eight times? $10k upwards for a butterfly that took me a little extra effort to catch? Sign me up, please!

For the complete opposite reason, I want to live in the One Piece and DC universes too. I don't think I would want to be superpowered, a hero, a vigilante, or a pirate (maybe I would be a pirate for the fun of it, but I don't think I'm brave enough). Just a regular person that gets to see what happens and how things play out. I have a feeling that rent is dirt cheap in Gotham since I could literally die at any moment just by being a bystander in my own home, and, well, that kind of suits my needs, too.

I also think I'd wanna live in some of the universes that I'm writing myself, some are fucked but others are pretty fun.

Depends if I get to choose the spawning point (the character and the postion I get to be) or not. If I do get the choice, I'd want to be in the Final Fantasy XV universe. FFXV is one of my favourite games ever, and the universe is beautiful and love the setting of 'reality meets fantasy' which makes for a relatable universe. Despite being a mess of a game, it's still a beautiful masterpiece.

If I unfortunately do not have the luxury of choosing my own spawning location, where I'd just randomly spawn into the world (just like irl) I would just opt for Angel Beats. I love the setting of the school there, and since the anime takes place in the afterlife, I do hope I end up there if I were to ctb.

I'd wanna say I'd love to end up in any slice of life anime such as Kimi no nawa or The Anthem of the Heart but I'm pretty sure I'd be equally as depressed and suicidal the moment I reach my current age lol.

As an avid daydreamer it's kind of sad how much I've thought about this.
One of the best pick might be pokemon universe. It's easy to envision befriending cute mythical creatures, and rolling on other trainers since everyone in the show seems to understand very little about strategy. The perks of chosing an universe tailored for kids.

The Land of Ooo from Adventure Time was Baby's First Escapist Fantasy for me lol. The early seasons were nothing but fun, friendship, and childlike wonder, which was everything I needed at the time. Obviously the later seasons were full of pretentious bull, but anything before that is the sort of fantasy world I would have loved to live in.

Any wold where magic of all kinds existed. From magic creatures like a broom, Pegasus, phoenix, griffin, dragon to magic coming out of your hand, body, sky, earth, etc.

Something like the Anime Overlord or Fairy Tail, Harry Potter Movies, or Balders Gate Game (video game and/or table top), but I would want to learn all of that magic for myself and excel tremendously.

To be taught by a head wizard in his tower or castle or a magic school small enough classes so the teacher wouldn't have to mass teach leaving some kids without help. I would love to be a race that had a natural strong ability with magic. Magic that is so incredible so I can protect myself or anyone from anything that life could throw at me.

Someone treats me or someone I care about badly….

I would like to live in a world where harmony is encouraged and allowed to flourish, where there is a true concern for the betterment of mankind and the welfare of all people.

I would like to live in a place where I could trust authority to do what's right for the planet instead of what's right for its pockets at the expense of the world.

I would like to find a place where fear, greed and hatred aren't promoted, driving people to submit to conformity and their owner's demands, consume what they don't need, despise people they don't know.

I would like to live on a planet where I didn't have to keep looking over my shoulder, wondering if I'm safe, wondering if the food is fit to eat, the water is fit to drink and air is fit to breathe ...and if I have privacy.

I would like to be somewhere I can know as my home, not someone else's idea and agenda of what that should mean to me - how I should live, how I should think and whom I should accept into my life, and call my friend.

I dont know. With so many to choose from, I cant seem to pick one even if I was given a time. But I do want to be in a medieval time with magic, mythical creatures and many unknown species reside then hopefully I was fortune enough to travel and discover hidden mysteries with the people I found along the journey. Sounds cliche, right? Maybe thats why I like isekai genre so much (not the harem/ecchi ones), I wish to be reborn like them. I dont mind not remembering who I am, I just want to retain the peace I have with me now to start a new life in a different light.
