Method If you are going to hang yourself - fully suspended - why did you choose this method?

I think I am choosing it because it is simple and usually fatal. In most cases, I can have my hanging tool kit in plain view without much suspicion.

Moreover, from the self-hanging videos I have seen, people seem to loose consciousness in a few seconds, which is backed up by medical research that reviewed several dozen videos. Survivors indicate they didn't really feel much pain and there was a general feeling of warmth in their head. There is also something about telling myself once I have stepped off stool and there is no way back, that I just killed myself - that feels satisfying.

It's the most convenient way for me to ctb right now bc It's out of the way of people and I like the feeling of suffocating and i need it to be over quickly

Usually fatal , the only supplies that are needed is a rope (not expensive and easy to find in stores), and the body is not too mutilated after the process of death. I kinda worry about the pain but I hope to reach unconsciousness as quickly as possible.

It is the most reliable method that I have access to, and to me, when considering a ctb method, there is nothing more important than reliability.

Because all the peaceful methods have been taken away by assholes, and partial seems incredibly unreliable and hard to get right.

Partial was my initial choice, but I've read that people sometimes stand up when they are unconscious. I worry about not becoming unconscious for a while with full suspension, but it does seem reliable if done correctly.

this is my preferred method as of right now because it seems just- reliable. I don't wanna fuck with the drugs because it's a path I've been down before and it's so up in the air. You have to get the perfect combination of drugs, and even then you'll probably vomit it up and it doesn't work. I need to CTB. And I need it to work this time. I cant risk another failed attempt. Suspension is classic, people have been doing it for centuries, why mess with something that works? Most people lose consciousness instantly and some don't until up to 2 minutes. Both of these ways seem okay to me. 2 minutes of complete pain and agony to end all suffering. Seems like a fair trade to me. I just need to find a secure place and a time no one will see it. I live with people, so I fear out of SI I will make a ruckus if I don't pass out immediately. I'm thinking of the metal bar in my wardrobe, which is high enough, I measured about 6 inches between my feet and the ground, or the metal bar in the shower which is 1 foot from my feet and the ground but the bar isn't as secure. All I need now is a rope, which I'm not sure how I'm getting. But other than that I love the idea of hanging. It's a beautiful method, and I'm excited to carry it out if I can.

For me full suspension is my preferred method, because it's the only really reliable method I have access to, plus I couldn't back out in the last moment and nobody can interfere as I can do it in my own home. I actually thought about trying ctb by heroin overdose for a while as it wouldn't be too difficult for me to buy heroin and it would probably be much more peaceful. However, I knew I needed to learn how to inject it first. Therefore I tried to learn venipuncture and although I succeeded once under the supervision of a friend (I know her from a pro self harm forum, so it's ok to be open about self harm with her), I failed on subsequent attempts on my own. And I can't really afford to practice venipuncture a lot right now, because people at work will otherwise think that I'm an iv drug user.
My problem is that I am somewhat worried about panicking once I have decided to hang myself and regretting my decision in the last moments. Maybe if I was really sure about it, I could handle it, but the problem is I am not quite sure, if I really want to ctb or not.

For me it's the method I'm most comfortable with doing I know it's such a risky method but honestly every method comes with its risks so I made sure to do lots of research on it so I get it right
