  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Or who they refuse to provide real help to in life? For example, my doctor said they would never help me with Maid even though they also know by now, that my life is garbage and has no future worth having. I'd say that just makes them a bad person and, according to what should be the definition of a physician, a bad doctor as well.

Similarly, many people in my past saw me as lazy and/or whiny. They would just leave me to fester. But if they aren't going to help me or they just don't think they can then I should hope they are fully in favour of generously expanding qualification for assisted death. At this point I wouldn't blame someone for thinking I'm whiny. I've run out of things to talk about because I don't live and all my prior experiences revolved around the torture of my ongoing failures and social alienation, whether I complain about my parents, other people or myself. But shouldn't that mean I should be helped toward a humane death asap?

Unbearable mental and physical illness are business.
If you kill the person, you kill the business.

Absolutely. I'm a total whiny loser-they should definitely get rid of me and then concentrate their resources on human beings that actually want to improve and thrive. So many of our resources are wasted on people who are hopeless… I don't think it has anything to do with business, with all due respect. It has to do with the Hippocratic oath. We have this knee-jerk idea of saving lives. Saving lives saving lives saving lives. It's one of those concepts that nobody ever questions.

I suppose every human needs the basics: food, water, and housing. even if you are a loser (by the societies standard) you are a financial asset to people who sell you the food, water, and or housing

It goes on…
In short; You are a money printer!
You Existing=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

But I don't know, this is my theory/opinion on the matter

A death usually harms the people around aswell - family, friends, etc. As far as I know, suicide even takes more from them then a natural death.
And even though some of us might not have these people around, it's hard to really proof that, a person who wants to die could just claim that.

In the end, suicide is simply illigal, maybe due to that reason. And maybe because people who suicide might have a "bad phase", which can pass by. In that case, a potentially valuable supporter of society goes down the drain. And even the unhappy one can still support society, as mentioned above.

Remember, even raising you did cost the state quite some money. School, financial support for parents and what not. So you dying is not just a lost opportunity and potential damage to the remaining system, it's actually a lost investment.

It doesn't make 100% sense though. Some people might be or become homeless, criminal, sick, relying on welfare etc. So these people don't contribute to the economic development of the country, they truely live on the expanse of others.

Also, people left behind might try to sue a doctor or assisted in suicide.

Complicated matter. I bet in tribal societies, everyone who is a burden just gets wiped out - beside the old ones maybe, because they did their service already and everyone is going to be old one day.

Yeah.,..which is disgusting in the case of a physician in a country that has an assisted suicide program. With such people as well as all the others, I will smile if ever they or their loved ones are blown up or murdered due to a loser finally losing it. They should think carefully about the kind of population they're creating. The odds of mass violence will only keep going up. They'll be wishing they'd been a bit more helpful with assisted suicide. It'll be way too late.

In my case I'm talking about a doctor in a country with a legal program. He wouldn't even consider it and didn't refer me to someone else to discuss it even though he could actually be sued for THAT.
As for the other people they should all be heavily voicing their support for easy access to euthanasia otherwise they should stfu next time a mass gunmen has their, um, 'final say', because it turns out most of them needed help that should have either been given or substituted with assisted suicide.

Because the generally accepted truth is that life is precious and you should stay alive at all cost.

All life is not worth living. Some people - such as myself - die a thousand deaths every day due to debilitating illness that robs you of all dignity and freedom.
