They (religious people, pro-lifers, and people who are anti-suicide) feel the need to impose their will, their values, and their morals/ethics onto those who are different than them and use bullshit statements to justify them. They feel as though they are some 'hero' or someone who is above their own rules or the rules of the universe. I hate people who do that, they disgust me. One of the statements I've heard just really infuriates me, coming from a devout believer is "my religion (Christianity) says that life is sacred and good and that so I must impose life onto everyone". Like bullshit, who gives that person the right to ignore governmental laws, human rights, and what not and just declare him/herself sovereign to impose his/her will onto others?!
I am a strong believer of separation of church and state (@Threads would agree with me), which means the church, religion and it's values have no place in politics, policy making, or in other people's life (except for the people who want to live by those standards). Sure if the religious people want to believe and live their lives according to their religion or their values and morality, then that's fine, but don't fucking impose your goddamn will and morality onto others that don't share the same values as you! Live your own fucking lives, but don't forcibly try to change everyone to fit your lifestyle!
So with that said...
All they (those religious pro-lifers and pro-lifers in general) have to do is just respect our rights. Why is it so hard for them to do so?! Why must they put themselves above us and the people who don't share their views and act as though they are the arbiter, the judge, play God, or any of this? This is something that I just don't get... I feel like they just elevate themselves to flaunt their moral superiority and just want to rule over those who don't agree or share their views.
