I hope that is the right way to word it. If I tried to starve myself to death, what would happen to me physically? I know I would become weak, etc., but will my organs fail before I die, will it be painful aside from stomach acid/hunger? I know it would also be hard because of survival instinct, but I just want to know how hard. What are the chances of becoming a vegetable if you almost make it to death from starving but are forced into care?

When I did catch COVID and after failing hanging myself. I started to starve myself, because I regardless could not swallow water or any food. I did hurt my throat during my failed hanging. The second day was tough. You feel very tired. Being thirsty is the more difficult part. I could not sleep anymore and had high blood pressure 200/120. Failed like I would get a stroke soon. I did also start to hallucinate. It was sometimes difficult to separate hallucination (like imagining seeing things) from reality.
I did try that (no food and water) for 4-5 days. But I can't remember how I stopped.
How long it would take and the actually timeline depend on your body. Like me trying that affected me much faster, because I am underweight.
Also you can be forcefed by medical staff or doctors. They are forced to "protect" human life. So you will lose your consciousness for some time at the end.
