What age do they require? 18?IC now requires ID for sn purchase
it says it has to match the shipping addressOr wait , did I read it wrong and the address doesn't have to match what's on the ID ? Only the name ? Someone please tell me. The wording is messing me up, or maybe it's just me. I'm not sure
21What age do they require? 18?
Doesn't hurt to try to explain. I was instantly in panic mode because of the address dilemma. but yes, we could try this (for those who preferred this method as well).I think it's good they are asking for ID because i definitely don't agree it should be available for any underage minors to buy.
However I'm not sure how the address thing will work, because here in New Zealand, our IDs don't even print out address on them. I'm sure when you send an email proving your age then explain your address situation then the company may be okay with it.
I'm glad they are now age restricting it, and be happy they haven't restricted it to businesses only!! :)
Yea I understand that, I'm glad I already brought mine so I don't have to send my ID. However I guess we just need to remember that IC has been a reliable and reputable source for quite some time now, and they are most likely just doing what they need to to prevent the government or law enforcement from forcing them to apply heavier restrictions on the product or being shut down completely.Doesn't hurt to try to explain. I guess my only real problem with that would be sharing my photo and full on information with them through an email.
I'm not sure it really does. It says, "The name on the ID must match (i) the addressee of the mailing address, and (ii) confirm that individual to be an adult, 21 years of age or older."it says it has to match the shipping address

oh true, thanks for clarificationI'm not sure it really does. It says, "The name on the ID must match (i) the addressee of the mailing address, and (ii) confirm that individual to be an adult, 21 years of age or older."
It does not say the addresses have to match. Only that the two names are the same. [Possibly they meant to say that the two addresses had to match, but they didn't actually say that.]
Can you also pm me the source (ic) thanksIt is a source for SN. You will have to have the actual site PMed to you, as posting sources is forbidden.
They are probably more concerned about financial threats to their businessprevent the government or law enforcement from forcing them to apply heavier restrictions on the product
If you're in the US, doing that is illegal. It's a federal offense. You could press charges if they did that, if you were so inclined.I'd be afraid they'd open my mail.
Do they accept a picture of your ID on line? Now you know there are computer programs that would allow you to modify your ID,..... Not that I as a southern gentleman would be so low as tell you to do something that wasn't strictly kosher to acquire that which you seek. Love to all y'all here.I am sorry if it has been posted before but IC now requires ID for sn purchase. It seems the regulations on sn are getting tighter. Get yours while you can
The labelling of IC is very simple. No warning labels. No "toxic" classification. Simple envelope with a package sticker.Yeah, I posted about this in another thread. The main issue is with the ID/address match, because while I can BS the origin or contents of a package to my parents, I'm concerned that it will be labelled in such a way that it will arouse suspicion.
Like if it's carrying toxic material, will it be labelled with warnings?
