I wish there was an accessible and peaceful exit

If the death gate was before me, I wouldn't have hesitated for a moment to step in. Unfortunately, there is no peaceful and easy method, everything needs a thoughtful planning. and seriously I can't think about either life or death in this moment. I want to get peace without planning or trying..I just want to get out of here. Life isn't for me... I want to leave this life for living beings, I deserve to be with the void ..not here

I feel the same way. I take so much comfort from the thought of not being here. I would love to fall into an eternal sleep. Dying is really hard and it fills me with dread the thought of ever attempting an method. It holds me back. I think as humans we deserve a right to die in peace. Because we are denied people are basically forced to suffer.

I sincerely believe morality is just an excuse they hide behind to guilt and punish people into living. Why? Because the world needs an underclass of workers to slave away and keep the cogs turning.

If us lower class plebs started killing ourselves en masse who will generate wealth for the rich? Who will fight in unjust wars for the government?

Indeed. It's definitely one of the main reasons. But then I think about people who are bed bound, disabled and don't work and don't pay taxes. Why are they forced to suffer this life even if they don't contribute to this messed up society?

Dying should as be as easy and mindless as conception. It's insane that all it takes to create a sentient being is two random, horny people and a few minutes of dubious pleasure, but if you want to die you need a whole fucking elaborate plan cause god forbid you screw it up and end up a vegetable.

End of life care is big business. Someone is footing the bill either their family or the rest of us workers are subsidizing it. Not to mention they have to keep the illusion going.

If euthanasia was readily available then the loss of taxpayers, workers, consumers and breeder of future workers would cripple the economy. The powers at be cannot have that.

For everyone's sake we really need to institute an accepted method of suicide in society and change views about death. I'm sure even the most passionate prolifers know there's a time to throw in the towel. And it may be different for all of us but the point is everyone has a personal breaking point. For some unfortunate souls today, all they can do is continue living despite having hit their breaking point long ago.

Exactly, I wanted to write a post on the same thing. Why having a baby is very easy, while leaving this life is very difficult? it seems life is programmed to keep going on, and nothing can stop this giant virus from spreading.

Hell i watch 1000 ways to die they have constant repeat on Internet TV. Sure wish they would show one that looked doable

Yeah, the more I research and prep, the more I realize that it costs quite a bit of money to go out on your own terms in as painless and peaceful a manner as possible (not to mention how difficult it is to source material for some of the more technical methods). Ironic how money is an issue both in living and in dying. I very much dislike it when people say someone took the "easy way out" regarding taking one's own life - this is not easy.
