I need to tell my parents the truth about myself, especially my sins.
I need to tell them that:
- My depression still isnt fixed and is preventing me from studying
- I cannot take the AP and SAT exams this year because its a month left and I still did not study
- I lost $5000 because I bought things expensively and sold them cheaply.
But I cannot find the right time to tell them.
To make them worry about me, I will not come out of my bedroom for a few days.
I will have my own supply of food in my room.
Would this be a good plan?

I hope you understand my perspective on this, its just prolonging what is inevitable. At the end, you will still have to tell them.

Do you have any other adults in your life besides your parents that you can talk to? A teacher, a tutor, a parent of one of your friends, someone like that? If you do, maybe you can speak with that person and ask them to be present while you talk to your parents.

I did that when I was 16. Left a note on the door for my mom. It was all I could do.

I would approach the parent you find easier to speak with and just talk about the exams and the depression. The money can be saved for another conversation unless you feel that needs to be said too.
