As most of you know, there was a member on here named Hope:-)

She was kind to everyone, helped out anyone she could with a warm welcome, an answer to a problem, or a final farewell.

She knew she would never make a Goodbye Thread (let's face it, they're usually derailed by pro-lifers or someone self-centered enough to ask about their method).

She was determined, and one of the strongest women I've ever met. She was successful in her attempt last night, and I'm so sad now. I know it's what she wanted, and I wish her the Eternal Peace she deserves.

Hope:-) please continue to give us hope from wherever you are. You are truly loved and missed

I stayed on that chat, she had fallen asleep and kept saying she was "behind schedule", so we didn't get to talk too much. I told her I wouldn't leave her alone. Her last reply was to me in the chat, then she logged off. She wasn't alone

Thank you for being there for Hope in her last moments. I was supposed to do a video chat with her, but I'm visually impaired and couldn't figure out the technology enough to do the video after all, much to my regret. We did chat a lot in PM, but I wish I had been able to do more for her. Thank you for being there for her when I wasn't able to be. I had a dream this morning about death. I can't remember what it was, but I felt peaceful, band when the dream was finished and I woke up, I felt that Hope had gone and I felt at peace, like I was feeling her peace. It might just be wishful thinking on my part, feeling like I may have connected with her, but I like to think that she did come to me vaguely in a dream to let me know she was ok. Just thought I'd share that also. Hope will be missed.

Hope was lovely I can say from the threads I too followed her journey and she must have been thankful to you for being with her in last moments. Some of you are very empathetic. I would remember her too like ojinzo and manic. She must be at peace now .

Well there are couple of folks I really like on this site! (I shall not name them in front of the entire congregation!) However if they are living a life as unhappily painful as my own, then what should I do? Cry or laugh that they have been able to achieve that which I have not? I cannot cry too much because they were suffering as all of us do. So I prefer to remember the fun talks we had, and hope they now reside in comfort somewhere else!

Oh gosh I didn't realise she's gone. We never spoke (I'm mostly a lurker) but she was something of a staple of these forums. It's always a blow to hear but bittersweet, like others have said. She's peaceful now.
