I wouldn't really consider it a failure per se since I was mostly just scouting levels of snow and decided it would be too dangerous jumping on the tracks when you can't see the concrete beams on which the tracks rest. Didn't feel like snapping my ankles. Maybe just an excuse though..?

I'm a planner too. Some people take risks, personally I just don't like doing that, maybe because I can tolerate a bit more and would rather do that than risk something really bad that I haven't thought about. Don't need any more problems
