I was supposed to go to college
But then I became homeless and lost all the money I had saved for school; I have no future , sometimes I imagine what I'd look like graduating from college; if I'd smile when they handed me the diploma; I imagine in another universe somewhere I achieved my dream and am happy, and I can't help but imagine that I have a good job, good health, and good family. I envy you, other me, I envy you to the point it gives me chills. I'm so sorry I failed , but I'm so happy I can imagine in another world I am successful

I would say that maybe going to college or not doesnt define you. It doesnt bring happiness necessarily.
I went myself, graduated in a program for a certain discipline....got jobs......but it still wasnt & still isn't fulfilling.
It didnt mean that I would have a good job, whatever 'good' means....if it means happiness then I never really had it & still dont to this day.
It doesnt mean good health either.
And it certainly doesnt mean a good family. After college and well into a job, Ive had two marriage partners cheat on me to the point one left for their other person.
Ive known lots of people who have been to college & they are horrible human beings...greedy, selfish, arrogant, etc. Not all are this way.
And Ive known others who've never been to college...and they are great loving people. They are happy in their life.
So I think maybe looking at what makes you happy is a main driving point and that you can love others.
