Story I was admitted in the Psych Ward at the age of 14

It just infuriates me with the current state of psychiatry. It is fully based on coercion and deception- I was put in a psych ward when I was just 14 years old. That was extremely traumatic experience for me. What kind of a sick person would do that. It sucks that my psychiatrist was so indoctrinated to the point that she thought that would be a good decision. She justified her action by stating how locking me up was deter and make me fearful so I wont ever harm myself again (I was self harming myself). Well- it didn't work since I had a suicide attempt right after coming out of that hellhole. As of now, she is getting awards for best psychiatrist and is training other residents. It is a slap to the face for me, knowing what she did.

it's criminal, psychiatry is a sick plague. They're drugging people with permanent brain damage as result.. Not for everyone but i've seen many many people with sexual dysfunction, emotional blunting, physical health complaints, blurry vision, and many many more disgusting symptoms because of their drugging. Also on these websites, people that want to die because of what psychiatry, or the psych meds did with their body and brain.

I'm disabled myself by an antidepressant after 9 months of use, i can't even walk anymore. Al of these damaging symptoms are ignored by them and called 'anxiety'. These people are the devil. And karma will hunt them in the end.

I'm sorry for what happened to you. It's a sick criminal cult. And more disgusting to see that these quacks win prices for ruining peoples lives.
These people make me sick to my stomach.

It's important that you remember that you're not alone. Because this sick profession is big and many people are affected by these predators.

That is exactly the reason i don't take meds at all the modern medical industry is nothing else then a huge scam machine and there is nothing i am more afraid of then to be in the clutches of these snake oil salesman. I am sorry you had to go through this nightmare.

I don't want to get near psychiatrists who don't acknowledge or recognize Prof. Thomas Szasz; Unless I know what I want from them and what they are doing then I'll stay away.

This reminds me of myself. I was admitted when I was a teenager. I made friends with other children that were from different ages. However, there were small children like 6-8 years old. That was so difficult to see. The nurses were rude, threatening to all of us. They were very emotionally abusive. It was very traumatic for me and for them. These places do nothing to help. I have never been able to forget this. They even threatened me with needles because they knew I had a phobia, they cornered me while I cried. Who does that in situation of power? They are heartless.

Thank you so much.I whole heartedly agree since I was prescribed SSRIs at the age of 13 and I feel it has exacerbated my depression. My life was a lot better before being prescribed these drugs. I was on them for 5 years.

im so sorry that you had to go through that. My experience was similar and I absolutely detest it. Life is full of suffering and psychiatry makes it much worse than alleviating it

Psych wards sound horrifying and I fear them. I'm sorry that you had such an awful experience, people should not have to endure that. The last thing that people need is to be trapped somewhere where they will just suffer more.

I've never been to a psych ward but the fear of the horrific practices in the psychology and psychiatric field scared me from ever opening up about my mental health struggles. I seriously hope my ctb method succeeds I would hate to sleep thinking its eternal then wake up in a psych ward

i'm happy you see this before you are affected and disabled by their poisons, same with antibiotics and many more so called 'medicines'.
I wish i did. But time machines still don't exist.

I can relate I was as well. Since then I've been in and out 16 times. It sucks. I've also been on pharma since the age of three. Anything you name I was taken. It started with Ritalin then went to Adderall and I have taken almost everything adhd/add stimulant you can think of.

I've been in and out of psych wards too. The whole system in my opinion is just based off of short-term prevention rather than actually helping. In and out for the past 5 years and still feel no better. I have become reliant on the medication prescribed to me and can no longer function without it. Not wanting to sound too edgy, but people always said that going in would help me but it never did and now everyone has forgotten. Psychiatry as a whole is a big scam and will be looked at by future doctors as nonsense.
