If my name is crossed out, hopefully I'm dead.

As many of you know, sleep is a perfect means to get away from such a nightmarish life, as it is the closest thing to nonexistence. I too resort to this way of mitigating the anguish, because nothing in the waking-state eases either my deep sorrow or my soul-crushing alienation from everything and everyone.
However, the problem comes when I'm trying to fall asleep and, suddenly, weird and frenetic muscle twitches wake me up from my peaceful slumber and bring me back to reality. In scientific terms, this condition is known as "sleep myoclonus." Although it's harmless and it happens to healthy people, to me it's a pain in the butt, since sleeping is the most accessible of the two ways out of life – the other one being death.
The human body is, yet again, as cruel as cruel can be – it tortures me while I'm conscious and, to top it off, it prevents me from escaping such torment by causing my limbs to shake when I go to sleep.
Still, this should be no surprise, as it is structural to existence to nag all living beings whenever it has the chance. And, if you don't trust my words, you can see for yourself what I'm saying – for example, notice how, in the most inopportune moments, the most inconvenient incidents possible will often happen; indeed, that's something that drives me crazy.
