It's the final straw that's pushing me to CTB - psycho bullying manager, put on disciplinary for bullshit reasons, terrible place. And time and again I get called on my day off asking me to come in. Literally every time I get two days off I have to work one of them. Looking forward to two days off today, then see missed calls on my phone, phone rings, can I work tomorrow? Because of who I am I can never say no to people, so always agree. I was supposed to be doing stuff towards CTB tomorrow, but now some of it will probably have to be delayed. All because of this shit show of a job.

It is worse than slavery. You may suffer all your life at work and still live in poverty and debt. People have to work despite serious mental disorders, it is extremely difficult to get a disability (how, for example, people with schizophrenia can work?).

It is disgusting that most people do not understand that they are slaves, that they are a cheap substitute for equipment. Pro-lifers say we should seek "help" - how can you help us? Give us money? Cure incurable diseases? Give us another body? We don't have to go to work and suffer?
Give us a time machine so that we can return to the past and correct all errors? Maybe give us a disability that many deserve under the law but still can not get?

I am in the same position as yourself, suffer extreme anxiety and just have to work. I hate my job. I am just a support agent, but the amount of focus going into a simple email is beyond comprehension. I wonder how most people survive in an everyday job in the 22nd century where almost every job around requires extreme cognitive performance and stremgth.

I have just made a post about your second point. I do not like animals in heneral. They are in harsh competition with humans on resources like food shelter and water. They aren't evolved to be friends to us. My observations on the animal specie isn't positive. Animals can be giant jerks too, and turn on their owners. We humans do everything for them nowadays, and they don't budge to work or lift a finger. I find pets pretty useless.

Thanks for all your replies. I know you're all absolutely right in telling my to say no and screw them, it's just a legacy of a childhood of utter domination by an awful step parent that just makes me do this - the will is just broken. I'll try to do better, particularly if things deteriorate to the point where CTB becomes certain.

Completely agree... The benefits suck ass (which truthfully i don't use personally but I vouch for others), overtime no longer exists, no more time & a half, cutting hours, how the fuck do they expect me to live?

At my job I put my foot down long ago so they know not to come to me with any bullshit. Im quiet but when the time comes I have a mouth. I see all these new people and they just walk all over them. Sometimes, I just tell the new people straight out how it is here cause they are told false things and if they know they can walk on you they always will. I dont expect new people to start acting any different but to just be aware.

Ugh! Yea entry level jobs suck I do not miss that drama. You must start saying no, because not honoring your own needs is damaging. The people around u will hate it at first. When u begin to assert yourself but u must. People pleaser syndrome kills us over time. I understand how u can feel pressured to give in but your well being matters too. Don't let that manager get to u. Just pretend u are uneffected like a robot, because the more they can get a reaction out of u the worse it is for u. Some sadistic people feed off the suffering of others.
