Story I tried to kill myself as a newborn

Just a (true) story.

I've been told this tale many times. My birth took some time and my mother, already given birth to two others, felt something was wrong. The doctors however did nothing.

When I finally arrived my face was purple and the umbicil cord was around my neck. Turned out I had a collapsed lung and several burst air sacs. I was rushed to a uni hospital in an ambulance with a motorised police escort.

Obviously, I survived (some debate if there is or isn't any brain damage ), but I sometimes see this event as 'my first attempt'.

It very well could be :) I was the third child after two abortions. I have always envied those souls. I am always jealous of them that never got to be born. A member here, 5th child after 4 miscarriages, brought up a very interesting theory that what if it has always been us fighting to never be born again and again until we finally failed and joined this world
