I thought I was gonna die today! | A fu**ed up stomach

It seems I'm in trouble.

From time to time I get a very painful stomachache. It seems it's related to the fact that I just gobble down food instead of eating slowly and properly.

I should go to see a doctor but guess what? I hate hospitals and I would be more than happy if this killed me.

HOWEVER, today the pain was UNBEARABLE! I started crying because it just wouldn't go away.

Thus, I decided to go a hospital and almost had a panic attack there; THERE WERE LIKE 20 PEOPLE WAITING TO SEE THE DOCTOR! I was desperate. I waited and begged the secretaries for someone to see me asap but they just told to keep waiting. In their eyes, I was just more one number, just one more guy in pain...

Finally, I couldn't wait anymore and just left. I was angry, in pain and lamented having wasted my money on 2 taxis.

Once I got home, the stomachache lasted for more 12 hours. It's always like this but today it lasted way too long.

I just don't know what I'll do but I'm sure I have something serious and this might kill me. However, it's a very painful method.

I'm too scared of eating now. I don't want that pain back! :(

Anyway, thanks for reading me. I really needed to vent about it and I think some of you will understand the fact of just wanting to ruin your health so that you can die but of course, easier said than done.

Hey Matt ! I got hospitalised last week due to severe stomach pain . Went in an ambulance had loads of morphine, and anti Neusea medicine. They did my blood work as suspected gall bladder issue as it runs in my family. All my obs were normal and my blood Normal. Doctor said it's due to stress from not sleeping. He said the stomach sleeps when you do so if you don't sleep well your likely to have stomach problems. I have been referred to a gastroenterologist but I'm unsure if I'm still here by the time I get a appointment it's roughly a 3 month wait in the U.K. for a specialist

I used to have a similar thing and it turned out it was intestinal parasites so are super allergic to certain foods and intense pain. Doctors came up with nothing but when I did intense parasite cleanse, saw all the stuff come out, it's subsided a lot. Maybe something to look into.

With gallbladder issues, you can do a liver and gallbladder flush. It's flushes the stones out naturally. It's an old school way to do it and really easy. Now a days they jsut take out the gallbladder which is really bad. Makes digestion a lot worse.

My doctor would no way give me opioid prescription for pain. I was given 10mg morphine iv last week and the pain was gone and I actually got some Sleep .

Try eating light things, like smoothies with a lot of milk. Ice cream, toast, crackers, cereal etc. You should have stayed at the hospital and got some opiates.

Dairy can flare up IBS symptoms. And carbs. Have to be really careful what you eat and how much. I love Indian food and Ice cream but if I eat those I know it's going to hurt after

I have digestive issues but I'm not lactose intolerant so milk actually really helps, but yeah if OP is lactose intolerant then yeah probably wanna stay away from dairy.

I never had any tests to see if I'm intolerant to anything. Just learnt from the pain food causes

I'd buy some fruit juices,yogurt,and such to keep your energy up. Think soft and cold stuff to soothe your stomach.

Hi! i am in the U.S. and I can not take nsaids because of stomach uclers, I have Gilberts disease which is a genetic mess up where my liver does not process acetaminophen so I am stuck witth opoid meds. I would like to try thc for the pain but it is illegal at the Federal level and states still have their own shops for it BUT it costs $700 U.S. per month, insurance cannot cover it since it is illegal at the Federal level so I am stuck with opoids. Opoids cost me at the drug store with my prescription $10 per month. Without some form of pain meds I would ctb in a flash. I can not stand 24/7 pain. I feel so sorry for you, I wish you could at least have the option of different meds. I send you @loopylou my wishes for some great sleep and all my support. Walter

Secondly, you're right. I shouldn't have left the hospital but I was frustrated! They just told me that the people waiting were also in "a condition to be treated urgently"
My brother gave a tip: Just call an ambulance next time and when they see me like that they'll just put me in the hospital asap. It could work.

Still, I'll follow your advice and go to the hospital to get lots of exams done and see what the hell is wrong with me because even though now I'm feeling great, this has happened to me more than once and as you said, it could be related to my OD when I tried to ctb last August. My stomach has not been the same since then and to make matters worse, as some of you might know, I used to drink alcohol everyday so I bet my belly was not happy with that!

As for the pain I tend to feel, it's really SHARP! As if somebody was stabbing me. It seems I'm really a coward because the pain was so unbearable that I cried like a baby lol. Well, nothing to do against that but I hope I'm never ever stabbed in my stomach for real!

Anyway, thanks again for being such wonderful individuals, concerning and trying to help me. I'm glad there's a place to vent and ask for help to people who can really understand the way you feel.

Yeah you'll be surprised how many people have those issues. 99% of peoplle have them, just to different degrees. Creates IBS, allergies, depression, anxiety etc flares up more so around full and new moon because that's when they are most active and laying eggs. Could have been the case with OP. Got a bad case after Vietnam along with Lyme disease. They dictate your cravings too. After you do a massive clean out, you notice you eat completely differently because they are not controlling your thoughts on food and your head isn't fogging and heavy anymore.

Have you been tested for Diverticulitis and IBS? Might sound silly but the pain often makes me feel like my insides are literally twisting around and becoming strangulated. Anyways hoping you're feeling better x
