planning on taking sn at about 12am pst. i'll have two glasses ready. i don't have meto so i'm a bit nervous about that. i'll be taking tramadol, xanax, propanol, and omeprazole.

i'm pretty nervous about vomiting because i'm really prone to nausea and vomit really easily.

i'm going to leave the tv on. i'm doing it in my moms apartment. i'm scared she'll hear me. i also feel terrible about her finding my body.

i still have some time to think it over but i think tonight is the night. i've been on benzos all day so my SI isn't as bad. i'm so alone and i have no friends and i don't think i can do it anymore. i hope i'll have the strength to go through with it.

If you have time to think things over then I'd like to say that omeprazole isn't a fast acting antacid, its a PPI. It doesn't destroy acid it just decreases the amount your stomach makes. I wouldn't want you to fail and have to suffer. With whatever you decide I hope you find what you're looking for

Quick google search told me that baking soda can act as an antacid, its the same thing in some OTC antacids

It's still very good. Just take it sooner. Double dose to the one on the packet. It will have effects for the whole day tbf so yoy can take it at any point as long as it has time enough to do its thing before you take your final step. I would heed tou to get meto before you go there anyway. I know you say tonight is your night but there's no do overs, right?
Baking soda is an antacid but in the same way as tums. It's not fit foe your needs. Stick with the lansoprazole/proton pump inhibitor. Much better.

It won't hurt to use the baking soda too. I'm just saying it's essentially like tums and they taste a bit better lol. Using it in conjunction with the lansoprazole won't have a negative impact so its upto you really. Either way is fine. With or without.

Try to keep it down for 10 minutes and if you vomit, drink the second glass immediately. I hope you find peace.

honestly the baking soda is much more useful than the omeprazole. PPIs can take days to work since they dont destroy acid. You'll only need 1/2 a teaspoon in some water, but it needs to be no more than 30 minutes before SN because after the baking soda has done its purpose (lasts about 2 hours) your body will create more acid to fix the issue

Proton pump inhibitors are pretty quick to work in my experience. Esomeprazole is a goos one. Dissolvea more quickly ans uptake is fast. The reason they're uses it stop your stoach creating exess bile after drinkin N. Ao the baking soda is good foe symptoms of reflux but once it's uses up by soaking up the acids and neutralizing the PH it doesn't do anything anylonger so it's important to have something to stop more bile to be created in the stomach. If you're fasting acid is highly likely to form in your stomach and the proton pump inhibitors will stop that.

Try and relax find a comfortable place in your mind and if you can't there's nothing wrong with delaying until you feel more at ease
