*nsfw to be safe. kinda drunk rn so this might be incoherent but i think my two best friends are self-harming more and smoking more cuz of me :-( all 3 of us hook up and they're both rlly fascinated by the amount/type of scarring i have nd i've realized that recently/since we've been hooking up they BOTH self-harm more often and more "severely". like one of them didnt self-harm at all before meeting me. and they both smoked a lot less before we got close. I dunno. i talk about self harm pretty openly cuz i dont believe in it being taboo and i also dont try to talk people out of self harming if they tell me about it. but i really worry about bot h of them. and i also worry that im a hypocrite for worrying cuz i wish people would just let ME self-harm and have a cig addiction without being all worried about it. I dont know. :-((((9 Fuckkkk. i dunno.

The word enabler doesn't really fit here. What fits better is that you feel you have influenced them, and you think you may have influenced them negatively. If you worry about that, just tell them.

Yeah, it's better to be open to them about it and ask them if you influenced them in that way and how you feel about it, if you already are that open about your self harm, then you might as well go that next step
