I hope this isn't against the rules. Not trying to promote anything. I just decided to look up floating urns and I think I found the one I want. I could see myself drifting off into the sea in this.

Do they then dissolve into the water? I'd be worried about washing back up on shore before it did,

either way that is beautiful, and poss better then just throwing ashes out to see and risk them flying back at you as the wind pleases

The bag that holds the ashes dissolves in a couple minutes. The rest of it takes up to a week. Yeah that's definitely a consideration.
