If one has a feeling of "I deserve to die" because of any event, it kinda dulls SI. At least it does, for me. Let's see if it works out in my next attempt.

I agree, although it's usually just a very short episode for me. By the time I'd have everything ready for my attempt, the feeling would already be gone.

what about " i want to die now" or " i need to die now" ?

For some reason, that does not work for me, at most, it works for a tiny period and then the fear of death overwhelms me.
