He said there were no regrets and his attention was fixed on the fall as he fell, and he was happy.

It's so hard to know isn't it? What will we feel in those last few moments? Free? Scared? Regretful?

Guess it also depends on how much you enjoy the feeling of falling for that particular method. Personally- I don't even like drops on rollercoasters! I think I'd be scared shitless and worried about the impact but then- you probably don't have that long to think about it.

I have a horrible feeling my most likely method- SN will be unpleasant. I can't see myself feeling euphoric if I'm in pain and finding it hard to breathe. I have a feeling for me- it's going to be more likely to be all about concentrating on my resolve while the minutes (hopefully only minutes) pass.

I guess with jumping- so long as the jump is made- there's no going back. Less time to deliberate afterwards but a lot of courage to do it initially.

Still- you've got to wonder- if you can let all the fear go- will it feel like flying?

It's hard to tell, because people will die, so we won't know their final moments besides some. We can only get the POVs from those who attempted, and survived. I think what scares me about it jumping is that people who survived the millisecond they jumped, it was an instant regret (not for all but most of them). (I highly recommend checking out Kevin Hines, I find his story very powerful but an absolute miracle, he jumped off the golden gate)

He hasn't suffered like me. Check out gene Sprague. He jumped with no flailing motions. Another woman was caught and she later returned and was successful

Who was it? Was it the dude who scheduled the helicopter tour and jumped out from like 1000 feet and lived? If not, that's another crazy story.

The guys dad literally got his kid all the training and safety classes then handed down the family business to him after 30 plus years. Totally accident free. No blemishes on the business ever. It was the kids first scheduled tour. The family threw a big party for him before his first customer and the guy jumped out.

His wife died a few weeks prior or something so his will to live ended.
