I overdosed on betablockers last night so others don't have to.
I had a pack of the beta blockers attached prescribed by my doc for my heartcondition (hypertension) but i never started to take them because i am in general opposed to modern medicine. I have no tolerance in this regard for this reason.
I am 36yo, 1,76m tall, weigh about 75kg and smoke.
I was lightly drunk at the time i took the first 25 pills because alcohol is said to reinforce the effect. My last meal was about 8 hours ago at this point.
I didn't experience any uncomfortable symptoms other then a slight building headache. After about 30 min i decided to take the rest of the pills also because who cares.
1 hour later i was pretty drunk and tired so i got to bed but had trouble falling asleep.
There were no uncomfortable feelings whatsoever and i woke up today just like every day with a slight hangover feeling.
Be aware though that every person is different and do your research beforehand.

I did this last week with 3g and some other stuff. I was interrupted by someone coming in and calling the medics. I woke up to chest compressions and them telling me i would die if i fell asleep. My bp on admission was 25/9. I am a 40yr old 83kg male and i smoke. I was apparently very close. It was messy but it wouldve worked.

Wow that is crazy and i am bit baffled that i took this so well apparently and since i have no experience with substances such as this it feels even stranger.
I experience circulation issues even when i take bath normally and am near to fainting sometimes when i get out but this did not so much or i just slept it off i don't know really. Maybe it has to do with my heart condition but hard to say.

The type and body chemistry has something to do with it but any dose that high can make your heart stop. Its also about cpp (the blood pressure and o2 to your brain) once it drops low enough you will incur cell death (brain damage) the lethal dose has been stated as low as 1.8g and some people have gone all the way up to 6g. It was very messy. It took a couple days to clean my apt after the incident but if at first you dont succeed ……

so then why are you on beta blockers? that's pretty good BP values
That was without any physical activity or stress as i was on sick leave during the time. I coudln't even finish the stress test because my bp was off the scale.

I don't know really i have not checked this with my doc and tbh i don't really care i would be gratefull if i could have had a heart attack already.
And i hate being under medical supervision.
After a quick search yes i have hypertrophy from time to time and this from an ealry age already but never checked it until last year as for aortic stenosis i think that to know would require a serious medical check up.

So, what's the lethal dose of propranolol? I read somewhere that someone survived 8gr of this drug

Not questioning your right to decide ANY medical treatment for your own body, but for whatever it's worth, my mother took high blood pressure medication for better than 30 years, and she lived until she was 88 years old, just passing away last year. And she smoked right up until the last 8 months of her life. I have no doubt she would have died many, many years earlier had it not been for that medication. And she hated taking medication. Any medication. Frequently, over the years, she was prescribed other medications for various other chronic ailments, but she would never take any of them. She did take her blood pressure medication religiously, though. We all have the right to make our own decisions in life regarding our own person. That I whole-heartedly believe. We need to do what is right for us.

I've heard around 8g too and you need an AE. I took 5g of propranolol a few years back and was found early. Apparently I vomited in the bathroom then passed out. I started convulsing and according to paramedics my oxygen saturation was 60% which is extremely low. I woke up in ICU 3 days later.

Would you consider taking this method again but with higher dose?

Yes but you would also need to take an AE and ensure you aren't discovered for a considerable amount of time.

Beta blockers aren't a good idea. I've seen an antidote frequently used in the icu to reverse them

Also Bisoprolol or a different one? What was the other stuff? Thanks in advance.

Also, how are you feeling now?

I'm so sorry. Someone I used to know couldn't afford their BP meds and, yes, had a stroke and became incapacitated.

I digress, but FUCK the US healthcare system and all those who perpetuate its continued existence in its current totally shitty state.

propranalol
a few oxycodons
Bourbon (lots of it)

a website that lists Drugs ... interractions will show you what enhances the effect

after that i have random bp drops where i get dizzy and feel shaky but otherwise im ok i got dizzy spells to a lesser extent before that too so your results may not be the same.

What was it like being near death?

I can't really say. All I remember was taking the pills then I blacked out. Next thing I know is I'm waking up in ICU, very drowsy. My ex gf and sister were there and when I asked what happened they told me I've been in an induced coma for the last 3 days.

I guess that's what death is like
