Its not a matter of choice, i gotta do this, and as soon as possible, but my SI always kicks in.
SI is really a bish. I know it very well. It kicked my ass the 4 times I tried to ctb.

So long as you're sure NEM, you could always remind yourself of the reasons you want to CTB. Our unconscious is tricky, as though it loves being in conflict with the conscious.
