Just things that bring me joy and pleasure like watching something or being with family more ...I think I still have a hard time to letting go

A part of me thinks I'm using it as an out. It feels like a survival mechanism where my brain tries setting goals to try motivate me to do something other than ctb. I know how easy it is for the "just one more" effect to snowball, and maybe a part of me is hoping that will happen. But that doesn't change the fact that the desire to ctb is still there, I'm just wrestling against my survival instincts in more ways than one.
