i bought a lottery ticket which i do occasionally.
i won a small price (i was happy to see i actually made a profit tho)
then i scan the code in their app, to check if i won, or just to double check.
and it actually shows me that i had enough correct numbers to win that prize.
but then i click next step, and it says there's no prize at all.
zero.
but i won like 15 bucks.
i've been scammed and borderline scammed enough times to realize that these things are very likely NOT just "glitches" in their systems.
it's on purpose.
anything they can legally get away with to make money, they will do it.
no matter how immoral.
this one i'm about to say right here isn't a scam, but it reminds me of my gym membership.
they demand people to send a physical mail letter to them in order to cancel your membership, you can't do it online.
so they know people won't bother.
that's the type of shit i'm talking about.
