Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

As the title says, after begging for it since I was a child I finally have my very own puppy. He is sweet and kind and that's exactly why I feel so bad about still being unhappy.
I know what responsibilites it takes to have a dog, especially one so young. It's not even the accidents or the constant little yips and yaps. I just have this horrible, painful feeling in my chest. I just accepted 16~ years of life, because I couldn't leave him to my parents, and definitely not when he is so young. I think the biggest issue is the changes in routine, I barely got any sleep last night and I can't eat. I feel like I'll never be a good owner but I can't CTB. I feel constantly on the verge of tears. Is this normal for depressed people when they get a dog? I feel like I can't tell this to anyone, because I don't want to sound ungrateful. Sorry if this makes no sense I feel horribly nauseous.

Yeah, you got to really think a lot before getting a pet. It's a lot of responsibility. Time, energy and expense as well. And not all pets are the same. Some will be affectionate and some will be standoffish. It's just how it is. Just like people.

It seems like you have some anxiety regarding it as well.Did your parents surprise you with it? Normal people will be uplifted by a pet to an extent but depressed people won't .

It's a fundamental issue that can't be fixed by anyone or anything else.

Look at all these gorgeous pets. It isn't really helping the owners in this thread with depression is it?

I would say spend time with your dog and enjoy his company for now. If the time does come, you can put him up for adoption.

Pets can be really great in terms of getting you in your a routine, outside, and being social. Along with having something that loves you. Maybe talk to your parents and tell them that you're feeling extra stress and it's hurting g your mental health, so maybe you can split up caring for the puppy.

this is called puppy blues btw! it will pass once the puppy settles into a regular routine, it can be very difficult with a puppy. i have certainly been there myself. if you need any tips/help please dont hesitate to message me. it can be a very tough time. but trust me it passes ! my pup is 1yr old now and a real gem. he's a jack russell too, one of the craziest breeds and even he is good as gold now :-) lets me have my own space and cuddles with me while im on the PC or gaming haha.
