Venting I just failed to strangle myself

I had all the equipment to do the "night night" method, everything was planned and I was in my hotel room with my suicide note on the thumb drive. While testing out the ratchet I think I manually tightened it and held it too hard without actually closing it properly and passed out while the actual ratchet loosened up after I went unconscious. I was just woken up after 4 hours by a call from family.

I can't fucking take this anymore. I somehow managed to fail at the most basic shit imaginable

I'm gonna confide in my sis, I don't even fucking care if I end up at the mental health jail anymore

Don't be so hard on yourself. That method is actually not so simple and it's always easy for something to go wrong once you're passed out. I personally messed around with this method and it was very difficult for me! A lot of us have had failed attempts, I know it's so frustrating and heavy immediately after.

I failed an attempt with inert gas that cost over $500 for the set up and woke up hours later in an ambulance, all my supplies confiscated, because I somehow removed the bag after passing out

this makes me wonder if i should use both the ratchet plus zip ties just to be sure, if i ever attempt this

Whatever you do don't put yourself at risk of going to the ward they will treat you like an animal and since you just attempted it will be a very long stay in there
