I have been taking medications since middle school. Antidepressants and antipsychotics mainly. The longest I have ever taken them is a month or so. It started as a forgetful nature, but now it has evolved into something entirely different. I forgot to fill my prescription, and the people around me said they noticed I was acting differently and thought I wasn't taking my meds. It aligned perfectly, so I told them they were right. But, the med I'm currently on, which I've had for 6 months now, I've only taken 3 times in total. I don't know how they can "see a difference" when there is no such thing. However, I guess this means I can continue to not take them with no problem. I sometimes want to take them, and I think they might help me a lot, but at the same time I've went this long already, so why even bother? I'm really at a crossroads here to be honest.

I have taken some... The only antidepressants without nasty side effects were bupropion, vortioxetine and tianeptine.
People's perception is not to be taken seriously. They only understand "different", but not "better." If whatever you are taking makes you feel any better, take them, but it also will be just another dependency. These types of chemicals are used only to suppress the symptoms or/and maintain the illness.

I havn't been too good taking my medicine. (it seems incongruent taking something designed to keep me alive when i'm planning to CTB) but i've been told that for antidepressants they need to be in your systems for a few weeks/months before they work. Just 3 times doesn't give them a chance to start to work.

What I'm taking right now is an antiosychotic that works right away. Like, I see a minor difference, but not enough to care, if that makes sense at all.
