Lol... I've had maybe 3 or 4 cigarettes in the last month and am on my second bottle of vodka, which is 1/4 full (fifth). I was smoking a pack a day and drinking a fifth a night or every other night usually, which I broke tonight because I was feeling good about that lol the irony I know.

Sorry I'm just surprised because I don't have my weed to smoke either! So when I do, I'm going to make that a goose egg. I am using a Novo2 though for my nic fix and recommend it to anyone looking to quit smoking.

Good job! I've struggled with many addictions and know how hard it is. Lately I've kicked the bottle (mostly) as well. I've been cutting back on cigs alot too. Down to about 5 or 6 smokes a day now.

Good job to YOU as well! It's tough because the "simple" things just get you through the day and you don't want to lose them

And yes I know addictions all too well, to me it's "pussy" shit I suppose, but it's an everyday thing that'll eventually not be so "pussy"... especially since I've been hospitalized several times for Pancreatitis. Keep on fighting the good fight and don't turn a little "treat" into the habit again, even if it's somewhat repeated.. as long as SOME progress is made.

Well done! Seriously, that's really impressive. You should feel proud of yourself!! I mean 3/4 cigarettes in an entire month?! Damn.

I don't drink but I should probably cut down on smoking, I just don't think I want to yet lolol. Honestly I don't even smoke that many a day, like 6/7 most days (12 ish when I'm out with friends), but I will quit one day! I really hate being out of breath so easily.

Thank you! and I know saying that all too well, but I like to chain smoke lol. Overseas is when that began on Newport's lol. I still am getting nicotine don't get me wrong, but I'm more worried about the chemicals and tar first I suppose. I do breathe easier though thankfully, that would only increase my anxiety as I would lay in bed worrying if I fell asleep would I stop breathing?? (Not trying to go out like that I guess). I just needed to get rid of the habit of lighting up and smoking in general.

Quit when you're ready as every time I tried my mind wouldn't let me, I've been smoking since I was 15 and first smoked my dad's when I was like 6 lol secretly of course and choked like hell.

Oh I get that! I only really chainsmoke when I'm stressed. It's good to know you can breathe easier now. I've read that your lungs actually get better quite quickly after you quit! It will only get better from here on out, I'm sure. You've already taken a step towards quitting completely, just continue as you are now!

And yeah, I'm going to wait until I'm ready to. They're getting me through a lot of rough times right now so I'll probably quit once my mind's in a better place. Funny thing is up until I was 17 I used to be really anti smoking and suddenly I just ditched all my morals. The sad thing is starting at 15 doesn't seem too surprising nowadays. I think quite a lot of people do! (not 6 though of course lolol ><) They've recently banned flavoured cigarettes where I live which is honestly a good thing since I know a lot of people, including myself, smoked menthols when they first started.

It is lol this vape shit never worked in the past, but since it's Nicotine Salts it's a little different and hits more like a cigarette actually. Thank you :) I just hope I can keep it up, I am craving a dip though.. again, just avoiding fucking up my lungs... coming from the kid that used to smoke ANYTHING to get to high (catnip, cloves, tea leaves, newspaper, resin dissolved from acetone caught in a coffee filter lol pills etc) I'm 27 now and feel like I'm 70, airborne school didn't help physically lol so my body screams at me daily like cmon dude you try to ruin us DAILY BRO hahaha

But I'm more impressed with denying the weed, I won't be avoiding that lol if anything maybe making some edibles and taking advantage of the cannabinoids you don't get from smoking :)

Way to go! I'm thinking of trying to quit smoking (again). I can't seem to do it with patches and gum. Gonna give a pod vape a try. I used JUUL before and liked it.

Go for it! But you can't refill Juuls though. That's why I use a Novo2, I'm a "heavy" user and it lasts me about 2 weeks a pod or more. Just depends on how you manage the level of juice (cover the wick) and hit frequency. My buddy uses one and bitches about the cost of it lol and I just refill mine.

Smok makes them.. I used to do the whole mod shit and all of that, it just became annoying overall, so I like the compact simplicity

Damn it sounds like you'd give Popeye a run for his money aha I'm sure your lungs will thank you in time, cravings must be hard to kick though.

I would like to but I was spending way too much money on it. Wouldn't want that again especially since I'm unemployed currently.

Vaping is great for getting off of cigarettes, as is Snus. With the former, questions of long-term health complications are still unclear, but anyone who switches from cigarettes to e-juice will know that the difference is night and day; Snus on the other hand is well studied and relatively harmless compared with other vices, such as sugar or sedentary lifestyles, but it might not work as well as vaping for everyone.

For alcohol, I think the only cure is to hit rock bottom, which is different for everyone. At some point it has to scare the shit out of you, or disgust you enough so that you either quit or loose the desire to self-medicate excessively.
