So I haven't been taking care of my body for about two yrs, I smoke a lot of cigarettes I drink heavy almost everyday and I don't really eat, I'm hoping all this would make it easier to ctb w SN, any thoughts of my idea. About not taking care of myself, will it help me ctb much faster? I Already feel weak. My energy levels have been really low, I feel so drained. A co-worker once asked me what's wrong with you are you living or just existing. 😔 basically im not the same person. I can't find any happiness anymore, I just want out already.

Not an expert, but it could wreck your body so bad that you're unable to keep the SN down (despite AEs) and/or the body can't break the SN down into the toxic chemicals (which actually do the job) like it's supposed to.

There's also the possibility of suddenly getting a stroke (heavy alcohol + nicotine exacerbate the risk by several times) before ctb and not physically able to commit ctb with any method (not just SN). All in all, this doesn't sound like a good strategy to me.

A pack of cigarettes a day? That's a lot of money. I also smoke, but one pack lasts me at least one month no less. Whatever your final decision, I hope you'll find what you're looking for

Are you suggesting to slow down or stop with smoking and drinking before I even attempt to ctb. I was never a smoker I just thought maybe if I smoke it would just help me decrease my health. Sorry if i don't make any sense. I'm just getting off from the night shift

If you're on such heavy consumption it's not a good idea to drop it cold turkey so yeah definitely slow down and stop. Smoking does decrease health but not in a way that makes ctb much easier or more efficient IMO. It just complicates things unnecessarily.

The not eating thing might be counterproductive. If your body isn't getting the necessary calories it will significantly slow your metabolism down. A rather common effect of prolonged starvation is gastroparesis. Your digestive muscles basically stop functioning well. Food and liquid stays in your stomach for much longer than in a healthy person. SN is absorbed in your small intestine, not your stomach. So the SN might sit in your stomach for much longer than others before it gets to your intestine, increasing time & chance of pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Calculate your BMR online. Just look up "BMR calculator." That number will tell you roughly how many calories you need to fuel all the functions in your body. Don't eat below it. Better yet, eat MORE because you need to account for energy burned in the day. Remember starvation is not simply not eating. If you consistently eat below your BMR for prolonged periods, that is indeed starvation.

I'm not a doctor, just well versed in starvation and have been through it (including gastroparesis) myself.
