• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

i bought a baloon time helium tank and an oxeygen mask i have everything set up but the tank requires i push diwn on tge nozzle like when filling baloons to actually release the gas which would be an issue after i go unconscious. it also makes regulating pressure difficult, i wanna fall asleep not blow my lungs out. i planned to do this tonight but i don't think it's gonna work im thinking maybe tapping a garbage bag around my head and using ducktape to create a seal or using an oven bag. does anyone have any recommendations for this kind of situation i was pretty set on tonight

From what I've read, trying to suffocate yourself using a bag is painful and will induce extreme panic. I would avoid this method

tanks for balloons have oxygen mixed in them

Generally balloon time helium is 80/20 which will not work to CTB. Also, you'll need a way to control the flow unless you're planning to just suffocate yourself, it won't be peaceful like falling asleep and never waking up.

That can work. Rapid loss of consciousness, comatose state, and death occur at concentrations of oxygen of 6% or below. It would be best if no more than 1/4 of air were mixed with helium after pulling the bag over the head (residual air in the lungs should also be counted), assuming that the initial concentration of asphyxiants you have in the tank is 99% or above. In order to increase the absolute critical limit of air in liters, a bag of a large volume like 20 - 40 liters should be used.

It's very easy to check the possibility of having 80% He + 20% O2 mixture just by inhaling the gas from a latex balloon or a plastic bag through the mouth. Before inhalation, as much air should be exhaled from the lungs as possible by applying a significant effort. Then the tested gas is inhaled contiguously till filling the maximum capacity of the lungs. After that, breathing should be stopped and the person who carries out the test should lie on their side on a bed in order to avoid injuries due to falling. If clouding of consciousness and dimming of vision occur within 20 - 30 seconds since inhalation is done, it's a good sign that you have an asphyxiant gas of a decent purity. Otherwise, you probably got a wrong gas mixture. Breathing may be resumed once either clouding of consciousness or a strong urge to breathe occurs.

It likely says right on the tank what the percentage of helium is
