I have a stalker and I'm sick of it

We both joined the team during the same time a few years ago. I tolerate my job and don't mind doing it until it is time to CTB. We were both offered promotion to managerial positions but I refused because of my CTB thoughts. I'm an individual contributor and he is a manager (thankfully not my direct manager)

I cannot stand him. He is a nasty person with many things to dislike. He is pretty insecure, jealous of successful people, and has a fear of being "hated". I don't think many people like or dislike him. He is just someone in a midsize organization

I like to be true to myself overall but nice and diplomatic per normal work expectations.

I had a few arguments with this stalker that were driven by his lack of ethical values and his stalking behavior. He KNOWS that I can't stand him but he doesn't take no for an answer. He tries to force himself on me, stare at me, chase me,...etc. I go out of my way to avoid him and go to meeting rooms sometimes to avoid him. Unfortunately, it is not easy to prove the stalking and harassment. He could claim he is friendly or he wants to talk about work ...etc

I'm so fed up with him I want minimum interaction. What can I do?

Can you report him to human resources? Also keep your phone in your pocket and try to record him for evidence.

At least you're up against something corporeal and tangible. I'm dealing with voices and crazy entities and shit. Take all the advice you can from people here but be thankful you're not dealing with "twilight zone" shit like I am....
