I hate that Guns Seem To Be The Easiest Way To Kill Yourself

This may not be true in all of the world. But in the US guns seem to be the only reliable method you can get access to legally. The second amendment gives us access to suicide. I hate this method because it's messy and barbaric in my opinion. It is certainly not a good end.

Other methods like hanging seem extremely unreliable. Sodium Nitite is hard to get and Antiemetics aren't much easier to get. Inert exit bags seem like a dream come true, but I had a hard time finding a regulator. And finally carbon monoxide is dangerous to others and Co detectors that can measure high enough are super expensive. Not to mention unless you want to do this method has a highly risk of being found.

And I'm sure there are people trying to make those methods harder, but in America we have groups like the NRA who fight for guns, and are winning. Guns can be used with out planning. If I ever get pulled over or get arrested (my biggest fears) if I act fast enough I can end my life then, and hopefully traumatize the cop for life. Suicide for a broken taillight heh

I've never really considered this implication before haha. I've never really been a pro-2A or pro-gun person, but now that I'm seeking suicide I find myself wanting easier access to firearms in Canada so that I can kill myself this way.

I agree it's messy but I think compared to other methods it's actually peaceful. You will die pretty much instantaneously, with essentially no pain or endured suffering. Once you pull the trigger your life is essentially over if you hit the right spot.

I personally wouldn't go for a gun based suicide. It maybe instant, yes, but in some cases people actually survive and the consequences I have seen are horrific.

It's the honorable way for a soldier to check out. If I could walk they would never find my mess. On the the other hand, if I could walk and fuck etc. like before my spinal cord injury, I wouldn't be getting it together to pull the big D-ring.

I wish I was born as an american so that I could actually have a way to kill myself. If I had access to a gun, I would have shot my brainstem and ended my life for good. Though of course it'd be better if I wasn't born at all

imo if one uses a high powered rifle or shotgun and hit the HEAD / brain the whole head will explode or break apart .

I really, really want to find a way to make and use an exit bag. But I know literally nothing and can't find any information about it. I would also settle for firearm option at this point because I'm desperate. But I'm not able to legally get a gun license because I've been committed to psychiatric ward before. I'd never pass the background check because of that here in this state especially. No idea how to get one illegally. Preferred method I'm looking into is the exit bag for sure, I just need some help getting info on how it works/where to find the materials for it.

As far as an instant, painless way to go. Guns seem like the best method, if done right.

I don't have a gun but I don't know if I can live with the imagination of what happens. Not to mention the physical action of pulling a trigger.

Wish I was born in the USA, my step father works on a farm and has access to a firearm, but since I haven't spoken to him in years I see no way of getting access to the gun, and plus could leave him in trouble etc. I won't be attempting it

There's always opioids and benzos or alcohol, DXM, Helium... There are a lot of easy legal and non ways to do so. Almost all are overdose though.
