• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Like, I feel like a total burden on my family. I'm really trying—like, studying and socializing and blah blah. But the voice in my head keeps saying it doesn't make sense to study if you're just going to kill yourself eventually. I feel like I'm trying to walk around with an anvil on my back. It's not like it's hard (and it literally isn't)—if I had even a little bit of energy or motivation to study, I know I'd do really well. But I feel like every time I'm alone with my thoughts, I think about how terrible and horrible/disgusting I am, and how/when I should kill myself. I feel trapped and like I have no control over my life.

As someone who struggled in school and college, I can tell you that doing well at a job doesn't depend on your scores in college and school.

Here's what I did. Got myself into a dead end job. Worked with other teams through mentorship programs (higher bands that payed better) inside my company to upskill myself. Moved myself into those positions and got promotions and hikes.

So now I'm getting paid around $0.50 more per hour than I would have otherwise.

I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Career wise things are good.

What's relevant here is your future can still be good if you struggle through school and college. I can promise you that much. So try your best. Get your degree. Get into some place, doesn't matter where, and then work your way up.
