It is not just young people. There are a lot of middle-aged chavs where I live (unfortunately).

Chavs are what you get when you cross someone that never made it past Kindergarten with an adult meth user. So many of them were on the Jeremy Kyle show for us American viewers.

I think old generations will always complain about new generations so I've stopped worrying about it.
As long as they don't mess with me, I don't mind what chavs do.

It is not a generational problem. I do not like it when older people complain about younger people being worse either. Plus chavs always mess with other people and that is why I dislike them. I cannot walk down the street without a group of them shouting abuse or throwing stuff at me because I look different. I do not think that being a chav has anything to do with clothes, because I wear tracksuits and all sorts of other stuff too. It is more of a mindset.
