I got caught

A made a thread earlier today regarding the fact that i was planning to do partial today, 10 minutes ago, i got caught, thankfully it was soon after i fainted 20 seconds if i can remember, i don't think i got any brain damage but i'm disappointed because i actually thought today would be the day that i ctb.. Now i will have to wait possibly a few more years before i can try again without anyone being around while i'm doing it. This was the first time that i was caught really trying to ctb, now people will start to be more careful I assume they will lock up anything that i can use to hang myself with. shame…

I understand why you would feel disappointed, I see it as being so cruel how people cannot just leave this existence in peace without the fear of being interrupted. But anyway best wishes.

In my case, no one was there to interrupt. But partial didn't kill me, tried it a few days ago. I remember kneeling myself down and passing out, then what felt like a whole day but was only an hour later, I woke up. Yes. Woke up with my face facing the right side. I don't know how I didn't die, the rope probably didn't fully close my arteries because my face turned to the right side for some reason. Was really tired and confused and later very disappointed as to how badly I failed. Will try again but with better preparation. At least I know it wasn't painful. Just scary.

I'm sorry. Are you safe with the people you live with? Are they going to treat you badly and be angry with you for attempting?

If not, I hope then that this is a chance to try to find something to live for. It very well could just not happen, but if you have to stay here in the meantime, I hope you can find something to do. If you really need the exit, there will be another opportunity.

I can relate, I was in a similar situation except for od. Its so awful being at a point where life isn't worth it & then someone makes the decision for you that you're not allowed to leave. I guess all you can do is wait till people drop their guard down & try again.

where exactly in this post has OP indicated mixed emotions? Give me quotes please. The only emotion they have portrayed in words, to my interpretation, is disappointment that they were stopped.

Even shoelaces have worked for some. There is always something around unless you're hospitalized.

I'm just thinking about your thread yesterday (childhood). I don't know if it's right to ask this, but I guess you are still very young and live with your parents. Would it be an option (and possible) to have your own apartment to live your own life ?
