It doesn't necessarily have to be an attitude problem though I think. I have similar issues and I know that my attitude isn't to blame. Society is discriminatory and shallow with suffering people though... I'm still trying to figure it out myself.

I also would think that in a place dominated by dark-haired, dark-eyed people, that there would be someone who found blonds attractive, just because it's exotic in that region.

Seriously though I don't agree with this kind of sexist vision. I find that women stay young longer sometimes, anyway let's not consider things this way for either gender ! It makes me despair otherwise and I'm pretty sure it's a form of sexism, not based in reality.

In my experience, you don't meet people that you are going to consider your "girlfriend" or "boyfriend" when you're out intentionally looking for that. Live your life, do things you like, be social and it will work out. If you obsess about this, it's only going to make you go crazy and never get what you actually want.
