Venting I feel unloved

It was my sister's birthday last week, and I wasn't invited.
I don't know why, maybe she thought I wouldn't like it or wouldn't go, but an invitation wouldn't hurt, would it? The lack of one made me feel so unloved and worthless, like I wasn't part of a family. Nobody even asked me later why I didn't show up, it's like I'm a ghost, already gone and forgotten.
Made me think of the future, how would people react if/when I CTB. Will they even remember to ask? They say we die twice, once in body and later in memory. Maybe I've already died in memory and the body has yet to catch up.

You not being invited says more about your sister than it does about you. As for nobody asking why you weren't there, how your family acted sounds cold and I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I know this isnt much but I want you to know that even if you feel unloved, you're not unheard

Like grapefruit says, it tells lot about your sister more than you. Shit like this is one of the reason I went cold turkey on my extended family.

I know this might cold comfort, but at the very least someone here will remember you in the worst case, and if I had to bet someone out there in the world has one memory involving you they will nurture once in a while. I personally found surprising amount of people remember random small things, and I am complete hermit.
