Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

A few weeks ago I rang my brother to talk about suicide. His wife answered and I asked if she could get him to ring me. I said I wasn't suicidal right now but wanted to talk about suicide. She told me that me she'd tell him but that he was very tired. I spoke to him briefly a couple of days later but he was at my Dad's and so we couldn't talk but he said he'd ring me.

He hasn't rang. Yet out of everyone I know he really understands me and when we do speak he seems to really empathise.

I don't understand why he wouldn't ring regarding this. Is it that he's full of good intentions? Can anyone suggest why he wouldn't ring?
