A complex illusion

Normally, we are someone who can relate, though masking most of the time, sometimes we mean it. But recently. One of our friends brother died to ctb, by partial hanging, in their own home. We didn't know how to feel, we felt nothing, but only the slight wish of that should have been us. We are not normally suicidal, but it has been different recently. The warming feeling of disconnection and the separating of my consciousness from my stranger of a body has faded away. We know after time, we will relearn what it felt like to truly be on a higher feeling other than what we see around us and what we can touch.
A few days ago, we expressed our feelings of higher consciousness to a friend. They have started to ghost us, they said they hate how we refer to ourselves as "we" and how we couldn't be two people. And especially, how being on a higher plane doesn't exist and why would we try going there, and have never been there before.
We don't know how to feel, our deeper beliefs, what our reality has been based off of for years, and what we have found comfort in, has been belittled and called a joke from someone close to us. We know this kinda got of topic from the title but it is something very deep to us. We feel the only ones who can understand are the people on this site. The people who are able to go against what is seen as "normal" and whats perceived as "real". The ones who will listen to us.

I'll never understand the concept of doubting someone without trying to understand their perspective. Your "friend" will never understand you as much as yourself, all that needs to be said. Here for your support ❤️

I'm sorry your close friend was not responsive to your thoughts and feelings. Not everyone has the capacity to understand others' perspectives when they're so different from what is generally accepted. Your inner world seems very complex compared to what is spoonfed to the populace, but that doesn't mean you should be belittled for what you think.

everything you've said here is so familiar to me with just some differences! this resonates so much. so sorry that people hate and reject what doesn't seem normal to them.

In this world people certainly can be so incredibly cruel and insensitive and that is why I view it as being better to just not open up to them at all. It's awful how other people just make things worse than they already are but sadly the way that people are is just the unfortunate reality.
