Just rambling at 3-something a.m. I think that I'd like living if it weren't in such a dreadful state. This world is filled with horrible people, tragedies, and misfortune. Yet, we're encouraged to only see the few 'good' things about it. The so-called 'good' in this life is so few and far between that it just negates the whole experience. Furthermore, the human just flat-out misunderstands life. I don't know what life is supposed to be about. But I'm sure it's not about money, killing, and hurting others. I'm sure it's not about exploiting others. I'm definitely sure that we can probably do better than charging ourselves for existing. Yet, here it is. Life.

A part of me hopes that there are new beginnings in better worlds. I'm okay with non-existence as well. But THIS can't be all there is to life. It just can't. If that's the case, then it's as George Carlin once said, "If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little."

That is how I feel as well. I have always known that the afterlife will be much better for me, and that the only reason I am here is to end my current life so I can join the afterlife.

I don't care where I go when I die. I will be completely fine with wherever I may go.

I can relate to your way of thinking partly. We came into existence because for an unkown reason all parameters of the universe are exactly determinded that "humans" can come into existence, we just don't know whether this coincidence happened only in our solar system or it also happened in a similar way in the billions of galaxies throught the universe. And yes it's likeley that similar circumstances in the billiones of galaxies out there led to another "human race" but we will simply never ever be able to know due to the distances and the determined speed of light. This is how the universe itself is constructed. Life is nothing else but eat and be eaten. Why exactly humans started to question things is yet unknown.

Life is a cruel and twisted experience. We live in the vain hope that things will get better, yet this rarely ever happens.
We sacrifice ourselves to an enormous amount of existential suffering just for the odd moment of fleeting happiness here and there.
It's really not worth the effort.
The juice ain't worth the squeeze as they say.

This reality undeniably is so hellish and dreadful, I think that to exist truly is something hopeless especially as all that's inevitable is even more suffering, loss and decay. But I could personally never wish to exist no matter what, I've only ever wished for nothingness.
